Interior cabins of cruise ships are made of metal. When you go on a cruise bring along some magnets and you can pin lots of paper to cabin walls to remind you of cocktail party invites, dinner reservations, daily planners and many others.

We carry lots of gadgets with us these days including smartphones, laptops and many others. Your window and sunlight less room may come with few outlets to plug them in. Check before you go onboard whether the cruise liner allows you to carry multiport outlet and whether it is compatible with the system onboard. You may also ask your cabin steward for a power strip.

You can use the TV in your cabin to bring sunlight into your room. Set the TV to the bridge cam station and turn off sound. It will bring outside sunlight into your cabin instantly.

We tend to carry more than we need for the cruise and storing them become a problem. Check for hidden storage spaces under the bed, inside ottoman, behind the mirror or even inside a couch.

Seasickness is a problem for many travelers. Before buying medication check with the crew; they usually give it to you free. Free green apples works for many.
