There are many reasons that Brazil is growing as one of the most popular travel destinations. What’s not to love about this amazing country? It’s an incredibly diverse country, full of natural beauty and plenty of adventure. Brazil is home to over 2,000 beaches, 1,000 islands, and of course the breathtaking Amazon River and Rainforest. As if the nature wasn’t enough of a reason to go, Brazil has a fascinating and unique culture, offers plenty of up close and personal experiences with the Samba, churrasco, and plenty of festivals.

If you’re a nature lover, Brazil is the destination for you. Nothing compares to the beaches of Brazil. Crystal blue water and pearl colored sand make these beaches absolutely unparalleled.

I’ve traveled all over the country, but my personal favorite is Ipanema in Zona Sul. Ipanema is one of the hot spot beaches in Rio de Janeiro. Some may not like it because it gets pretty crowded. But in my opinion, beautiful people and beautiful water together is even better than an isolated beach. Personally, I love beaches that offer adventure. All up and down the beach there are volleyball games, soccer games, wakeboarding and surfing. You can knock back a few coconuts or beers, whichever you prefer.

After spending time at the beaches, you have to check out one of the 62 national parks. The wildlife in Brazil is completely mind-blowing. I spent some time in the Amazon Rainforest and could not believe the trees! The Amazon produces over 20% of the earth’s oxygen! It’s often been nicknamed the “lungs of the earth.” It’s the world’s largest rainforest and something to see at least once in your lifetime.

While churrasco is mouth-watering and the Samba is a lot of fun to dance to, the nature in Brazil is worth the trip alone!
